Anwendung
Application - Lawn Edger
Our assembly recommendations serve as a non-binding guide.
Some recommendations are examples – the color and shape of the parts may vary. However, the basic instructions remain valid.
Required tools, aids and protective equipment:
- Turf regeneration box with pre-grown turf element
- Water (for dry or compacted soil)
- Sturdy footwear
Note:
- For dry or hard soil, the repair area should be watered in advance
- Always guide the tool perpendicular to the surface to ensure clean cut edges
- Do not force penetration - do not assist with hammer blows
- Remove the ejector before cutting out, as it may be damaged when stepped on
- Cutting out and ejecting take place in separate work steps
- If residual moisture remains in the threaded area, it is recommended to unscrew the handle for storage to ensure complete drying and prevent superficial red rust.
Process:
- Damage area: Define the damaged area to be replaced.
- Watering: If the soil is dry or hard, lightly water the area beforehand.
- Positioning: Place the turf cutter centrally on the damaged area.
- Ejector: Be sure to remove the ejector beforehand (see note)
- Piercing: Gradually apply your body weight to the turf cutter so that it cuts into the soil.
Tip: The cutting action can be supported by gentle rocking movements. - Pressing in: Press the tool into the ground as far as the base plate.
- Releasing: Pull the cutter slowly upward with a gentle rocking motion.
- Insert ejector: Insert the ejector into the intended recesses in the base plate.
- Removal: With light pressure on the ejector, release the damaged area downward from the cutter while guiding the tool upward.
- Select replacement: Select a pre-cut turf element.
- Removal: Remove the turf element completely from the turf growing box by pressing upward from below against the insert base.
- Insertion: Insert the turf element into the prepared opening.
- Leveling: Gently press down the transition to the existing area with your foot.
- Aftercare: Water the area lightly to support the establishment phase.

Application - Turf growing system
Our application recommendations are intended as non-binding guidance.
Some recommendations are examples only - the color and shape of the parts may vary. The basic instructions remain valid nonetheless.
Required tools, aids, and protective equipment:
- Lawn substrate / soil-sand mixture with any mixing ratio, preferably as similar as possible to the existing soil.
Example: topsoil + quartz sand with a grain size of 0.8 - 1.6 mm in a 70 / 30 ratio - Seed analogous to the existing lawn
- Water
Note:
- Markers for filling and compaction serve as a guide
- The actual compaction depends on the substrate and moisture level
Procedure:
- Insert insert base: Insert the insert base into the lawn growing box.
- Fill in substrate: Fill the first layer of lawn substrate evenly into the box up to the top edge of the first marking.
- Pre-compacting#1: Compact the substrate with the compactor up to the lower edge of the first marking.
- Filling: Fill in another layer of substrate up to the upper edge of the second marking.
- Pre-compacting#2: Compact the substrate with the compactor up to the lower edge of the second marking.
- Applying seed: Distribute the lawn seed evenly over the prepared surface with the desired application rate, if possible analogously to the existing lawn.
- Covering: Fill in substrate up to the upper edge of the lawn growing box to cover the seed.
- Stripping: Remove excess substrate evenly.
- Final compaction: Lightly press down the surface to ensure good soil contact for the lawn seeds.
- Watering: Initially moisten the substrate evenly and not too heavily until water drains out at the bottom..
- Positioning the columns: Position the columns of the stacking system at the four front markings of the lawn growing box. Hook the column onto the designated marking at the top.
- Bottom installation: Press the lower part of the column until it lies flat against the box. Repeat the process for all four columns.
Note: hook at the top first, then press at the bottom - not the other way around. - Setup: Place the box with the mounted columns on the saucer. Make sure the lugs and drill holes are aligned.
- Joining: Press down gently from above.
- Stacking: Place additional boxes with mounted columns on top and stack as desired. Ensure a stable and level position.
