Assembly

Installation recommendation - Performance Smart blade guard

Our installation recommendations are intended as a non-binding guide.
Some recommendations are examples - the color and shape of the parts may vary. The basic instructions nevertheless remain valid.
If different, the OEM manufacturer's specifications take precedence.

Required tools, aids and protective equipment:

  • 2.5mm hexagon socket as a wrench or bit for screwdrivers (for original screws)
  • 3 mm hexagon socket as a wrench or bit for screwdrivers - optionally with our cool bit holder (for new screws)

Assembly process:

  1. Disassembly: After removing the original blade plates, the blade guard covers on the left and right can be unscrewed by loosening the 3x hexagon socket screws.
  2. Distinguishing the sides: As with the original guard, the covers for the left and right sides are different and marked accordingly.
  3. Positioning the blade guard on the right: This also has a hole to accommodate the pin on the mower for correct positioning.
  4. Install the new blade guard covers: Place the protective covers on the left and right, paying attention to the positioning roundings for the seal and aligning them.
  5. Fastening: Apply the screws and tighten evenly with a moderate torque (approx. 1 Nm).

Before commissioning , the freedom of movement of the installed parts must be checked and ensured .

For optimum use and to protect the robotic lawnmower and our performance parts, the area to be mowed must be free of obstacles to avoid interference or collisions. Hazardous areas must be excluded before each run - in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.

The warranty and liability relates to verifiable material defects and processing errors, but not to damage caused by improper use or collisions with foreign objects.
In addition, we only accept warranty and liability for the blade discs if our own blade systems (CLASSIC and PREMIUM) are used as a complete system.
The use of other systems has neither been tested nor approved by us.

The compatibility of our parts is checked and approved with the current firmware/software version of the respective robotic lawnmower at the time of product release. Liability for firmware-related incompatibilities is excluded.
