Assembly

Installation recommendation - Performance Smart blade guard

Our installation recommendations serve as a non-binding guide. If different, the manufacturer's specifications take precedence.

Required tools, aids and protective equipment:

  • 2.5mm hexagon socket as a wrench or bit for screwdrivers (for original screws)
  • 3 mm hexagon socket as a wrench or bit for screwdrivers - optionally with our cool bit holder (for new screws)

Assembly process:

  1. Disassembly: After removing the original blade plates, the blade guard covers on the left and right can be unscrewed by loosening the 3x hexagon socket screws.
  2. Distinguishing the sides: As with the original guard, the covers for the left and right sides are different and marked accordingly.
  3. Positioning the blade guard on the right: This also has a hole to accommodate the pin on the mower for correct positioning.
  4. Install the new blade guard covers: Place the protective covers on the left and right, paying attention to the positioning roundings for the seal and aligning them.
  5. Fastening: Apply the screws and tighten evenly with a moderate torque (approx. 1 Nm).

The warranty and liability relates to verifiable material defects and processing errors, but not to damage caused by improper use or collisions with foreign objects.
In addition, we only accept warranty and liability for the blade discs if our own blade systems (CLASSIC and PREMIUM) are used as a complete system.
The use of other systems has neither been tested nor approved by us.

In individual cases , an individual solution can be worked out after contacting us.

THE upgrade par excellence.

I have now mowed my lawn of around 480 square meters around three times with this upgrade. Twice due to the weather, even when the lawn was very wet. This is really no problem with this blade guard. Smaller blockages on the sides as before. Of course, I can't say anything about the long-term durability at the moment, but the fit, quality and function of the parts have completely convinced me. The Performance Smart blade guard is absolutely TOP in terms of price/performance!
