Installation recommendation –  Performance Smart antenna bracket

Our installation recommendations serve as non-binding guidance.
Some recommendations are examples only – the color and shape of the parts may vary. However, the basic instructions remain valid.
If they differ, the OEM manufacturer’s specifications take precedence.

Installation variants & required materials

Clamping variant using a counter plate:
e.g. for installation on a 6/5/6 double-wire mesh fence

• 4x M4x18 screws

Direct screwing into hard surfaces:
e.g.for mounting on brickwork   

• 4x 4.5x40 mm universal screws (round head / flat head / pan head)
• 4x 6x30 mm wall plugs

Direct screwing in soft substrates:
e.g. for mounting on a wooden facade or garden shed

• 4x 4.5x30 mm wood screws / universal screws

Installation procedure for clamp version:

1. Positioning: Position the base bracket with counter plate for clamping. Note the side with the logo (due to the direction of the threaded inserts)
2. Fastening: Clamp the counter plate to the base bracket with screws using moderate torque (approx. 1 Nm)
3. Extension: Attach any number of extensions and screw them on lightly
   Notes on marking.
4. The marking serves as a guide when screwing together the extensions: 
   The marking of the first extension should be aligned approximately centrally with the base holder
   The markings of the other extensions should be approximately aligned with each other

Installation process for direct screwing:

1. Preparation: Pre-assemble individual parts in a horizontal position
2. The marking serves as a guide when screwing together the extensions:    The marking of the first extension should be aligned approximately centrally with the base holder
   The markings of the other extensions should be approximately aligned with each other
3. Attachment: Position and secure the pre-assembled holder, if necessary with the help of a second person  Carefully screw on the base holder, ensuring that the cable is not pinched
4. Check: Verify that the cable is routed freely and has been led out through the desired opening without being pinched

Installation process for the antenna:

1. End adapter: Screw on the antenna-specific adapter
2. The marking is used for alignment
   when screwing on the extensions:
   The marking on the first extension should be aligned approximately in the center with the base holder
The markings on the other extensions should be approximately aligned with each other
3. Cable routing:
Thread the cable into the end adapter and route it out through the desired opening
4. Positioning:
Place the antenna on and position it. Pay attention to the protrusions of the grooves, as well as the through-hole for the fixing screw
5. Fixing: Insert the fixing screw from the side and tighten slightly
